Congratulations to Sophie, Eilidh, Olivia and Olachizita who have been named as the winners of the Best Elevator Pitch Video Award (Junior Category) in the national Growing Future Assets Investment Competition!
The annual contest challenges S3-6 girls to research, analyse and pitch a company they think is a great long-term investment and the team chose to focus on Intuitive Surgical.
The judges said, ‘Just a really polished video all round: nicely shot, with clear audio, and helpful graphics. The information itself came across effortlessly, too – strong delivery, imaginative direction, and clear, insightful arguments… I also love the fact they went the extra mile and recorded it at a hospital with a Da Vinci console.’
The girls will each receive special certificates and prize vouchers which will be presented to the School at the competition final in which the School has another team competing to win the overall title.
The Growing Future Assets competition seeks to nurture the next generation of female investment experts by introducing girls to investment, its operation, relevance and impact, and the range of careers available.
